Chaperones – Marney Gundlach

Travel with and care for all band/color guard students during football games, UIL performances, marching contests and trips. Chaperones must be available to ride student buses and be with the students at all times during the event. Times and duties will vary according to event. You do not need to commit to all events!

Keep the energized and hydrated by preparing and distributing snacks and water for students during marching contests.

Uniforms — Marching Season – Myra Tijerina & Heather Montes

Uniforms — Concert Season – Laura McCormick & Kelly Wilson

Put the clothes on their back! Help with distribution, fitting, and maintenance. Take home band uniforms (8-10 per volunteer) several times during the marching season for washing. The band uniforms are machine washable and dryable.

Seat Covers – Sandra Gillespie

Place seat covers on the bleacher seats prior to the band's arrival at football games, then wipe down, remove and pack the seat covers after the band leaves the stands. Volunteers need to arrive at the stadium prior to the band’s arrival and stay a little late for removal. There is no work to be done during the game itself.

Plumes – Kiyoko Latson & Fred Kho

Place plumes ("feathers") in student hats prior to half-time performances, and remove afterwards. You follow the band to warm up (mid 2nd quarter) and return after halftime. These volunteers are also responsible for picking up music/lyres from the sidelines after the band plays for the Diamond Dancers.
